The short version: the extension does not collect, send, sell or share your data. Everything it reads stays in your own browser.
Elevated Page Check is a Chrome extension published by Elevated Ideas LLC, 11 Nob Hill Dr, Jacksonville, IL 62650 (“we”, “us”). It checks a web page for common search and contact problems and explains them in plain English.
Only the page in your current tab, and only when you click the extension icon. Chrome calls this “activeTab”. When you click, the extension reads that page’s title, description, headings, structured data, links, phone numbers, forms, image file names and alt text, and a few page settings (noindex, canonical, viewport). It uses them only to show you the results in the extension window. It changes nothing on the page.
It has no access to other tabs, your browsing history, or any site you have not clicked it on.
If you fill in “Your business card” (business name, main phone, street address, town, state, ZIP, website), those values are saved in your browser with Chrome’s extension storage (chrome.storage.local) so later checks can compare against them. Nothing else is stored. The results of a check are not saved.
“Copy results” puts a text report on your clipboard only when you click it. Where you paste it is up to you. Links in the results open pages on elevatedideas.com in a new tab, like any link you click.
The use of information received by Elevated Page Check adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The extension is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13.
